1 cup raisins
1 cup water
1/2 cup oil
1 cup sugar
1 egg, slightly beaten
1-3/4 cups flour
1/4 teaspoon salt
1 teaspoon baking soda
1 teaspoon cinnamon
1 teaspoon nutmeg
1 teaspoon allspice
1/2 teaspoon cloves
1/2 cup chopped nuts
Powdered sugar

Bring raisins to boil in water, add oil & cool. Stir egg & sugar together, add raisin mixture & beat (by hand to avoid cutting up raisins). Then add flour, salt, soda, cinnamon, nutmeg, allspice, & cloves. Next add nuts. Pour into a 9"x13" greased pan & bake at 375 for about 20 minutes or until done. When cool, dust with powdered sugar & cut.
