1/2 c almonds chopped & toasted
6 tbsp of sugar, divided
1/2 c margarine, cut into 2 pieces
1 1/2 c + 2 tbsp all-purpose flour
1/8 tsp salt
1 extra ripe medium banana
2 or 3 oz semi-sweet chocolate chips

Directions:
Directions:
Pulverize almonds with 2 tbsp of sugar. Beat almonds, margarine in the remaining 4 tbsp of sugar, flour and salt. Puree banana; add to almond mixture and mix until well blended. Roll tablespoons of dough into logs. Shape into crescents. Place on ungreased cookie sheet. Bake in 375º oven for 25 minutes or until golden brown. Cool on wire rack. Melt chocolate in microwave about 1-2 minutes, stirring once. Dip ends of cookies into chocolate. Refrigerate. Yield: 48
