1 c margarine or butter
3/4 c powder sugar
1/2 t almond extract or 2 t vanilla
2 c all purpose flour
1/4 t salt
1 c quaker oats
1/2 c finely chopped almonds
additional powder sugar

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat at 325. Beat margarine, 3/4 c powder sugar and almond extract until fluffy. Add flour and salt, mix until well blended. Stir in oats and almonds. Shape level measuring tablespoon full of dough into the cresents. Place on ungreased cookie sheet about 2" apart. Bake 14-17 minutes or until bottoms are light golden brown. Remove to wire racks. Sift additional powder sugar generously over warm cookies. Cool completely.
