3/4 c crisco
1/2 brown sugar packed
1/2 c sugar
1 egg
1/4 c water
1 t vanilla
1 c flour
1 t salt
1/2 t soda
3 c quick cooked oats
1/2 c pecans (optional)

Directions:
Directions:
Cream the crisco, sugar, egg, water and vanilla together. Sift the flour, salt and soda together. Add creme mixture; blend well. Stir in oats, coconut and pecans. Drop by the spoonful onto greased cookie sheet. Bake at 350 for 12-25 minutes.
