12 qt. - popped corn
¼ tsp. - cream of tartar
2 sticks - margarine
1 tsp. - salt
2 c. - light brown sugar
1 tsp. - baking soda
½ c. - light Karo syrup
1 tsp. - vanilla

Directions:
Directions:
Cook margarine, sugar, syrup, cream of tartar, and salt about 5 minutes until temperature reaches 265º. Remove from heat. Add baking soda and vanilla; stir until frothy. Pour over corn; stir gently to mix. Bake at 260º for 1 hour. Stir every 10 minutes. Pour into waxed paper and cool. Store in airtight container.
