"A man who was fond of wine was offered some grapes at dessert after dinner. "Much obliged," said he, pushing the plate aside; "I am not accustomed to take my wine in pills."--Jean Antheleme Brillat-Savarin, The Physiology of Taste

Personal Notes:
We lived on this when Bobby and Danny were growing up. It was a favorite party menu and when Warren and Martha came to dinner, it was a favorite. Martha and I made it for a BIG Beer Tasting Party...only problem....everyone was so full of beer, no one ate the food! We had Mexican stew for days after.
