1 lb lean ground beef
1 Cup cooked rice
1 Large onion
1 Can Green Chiles
1 6 oz can tomato paste
3 cans water
l 8 oz can tomato sauce
2 tsp Cumin
2 tsp oregano
2 tsp chile powder
Fritos,
Lettuce,
Grated Cheese
Tomatoes,
Sour Cream,
Salsa,
Green onions,
Cilantro, or
WHATEVER!

Directions:
Directions:
Brown ground beef and onion. Cook rice. Add rice to beef with all ingredients up to Fritos. Cook until thickened. To serve, place Fritos on plate, add stew and top with any desired toppings.

I've made this recipe for 30. It works well.

We lived on this when Bobby and Danny were growing up. It was a favorite party menu and when Warren and Martha came to dinner, it was a favorite. Martha and I made it for a BIG Beer Tasting Party...only problem....everyone was so full of beer, no one ate the food! We had Mexican stew for days after.
