Peanut Butter Brownies Recipe

1/3 C butter
1/2 C peanut butter
1 C sugar
1/4 C firmly packed brown sugar
2 eggs
1 C sifted flour
1 tsp. baking powder
1/4 tsp. salt
1 pkg. semi-sweet chocolate bits
1/2 tsp. vanilla

Beat butter and peanut butter together until light. Gradually add
sugars and cream well. Add eggs, one at a time, beating well
after each. Add flour, baking powder, and salt mixing well. Add
chocolate bits and vanilla. Spread mixture in well greased 9"
pan. Bake at 350 for 30-35 minutes. Cool and cut into squares.
