1 lb. ground beef 1/2 c. chopped onion 1 can condensed cream of mushroom soup 1/2 c. sour cream 1/2 c. water 1/2 tsp. paprika 1/2 tsp. salt 1/8 tsp. black pepper 2 c. cooked noodles
In skillet, brown beef and onions (use shortening if necessary). Stir to separate meat; pour off fat. Add remaining ingredients. Pour into 1 1/2 qt. shallow baking dish (10x6x2). Bake at 400º for 25 minutes or until hot; then stir. Garnish with tomato slices (optional) and buttered bread crumbs the last 5 minutes of baking if desired.
