1/2 cup oleo
3/4 to 1 cup sugar
3/4 cup flour
pinch of salt
4 cups of apples
2 T water
1/2 tsp cinnamon

Directions:
Directions:
Measure dry ingredients and add oleo and crumble it until is mixed. Grease 8 X 8 pan and put apples in it. Add water and sprinkle cinnamon over them. Spread dry mixture over all of the apples. Place in a 350º oven and bake for 1 hour until bubbly and brown.

Mary and Sue used this for a 4-H project and got purple ribbons when ever they showed it. We ate a lot of apple crisp that summer but it became a favor for our whole family.
