1 c. flour 1/2 tsp. salt 2 tsp. baking powder 1 egg 1 tbsp. butter 1 c. lukewarm water
Put flour, baking powder with salt sifted into basin. Break egg yolk into centerand mix thouroughly. Add butter which has been melted in the water. Beat egg white stiff and fold in. Dip fish in batter and fry in deep fat. This is enough for 6 or more servings. In using this batter fish frying becomes a pleasant job.
