3/4 cup sugar(divided)
1/4 tsp salt
3 cups milk
1 egg ( whole)
3 tbsp flour
1/4 tsp salt
3 eggs(seperated)
1 1/2 tsp vanilla
vanilla wafers
bananas

Directions:
Directions:
Seperate 3 eggs and put whites aside. Put 3 yolks in a boiler, add whole egg. Mix together and add milk. Mix 1/2 sugar, flour and salt. Add to egg and milk mixture. Add 1 tsp vanilla. Boil slowly until mixture thickens,stirring constantly. In a casserole or pan, alternate vanilla wafers and bananas, until the dish is almost full. Pour thickened mixture over the top and using a knife punch it down thru the wafers and bananas. Cover with Meringue...

Meringue
Beat 3 egg whites until stiff and fluffy. Add 1/4 cup sugar dash of salt and 1/4 tsp vanilla. When good and stiff, spoon onto pudding. Brown in 350º oven.
