1/2 c shortening
1/2 c sugar
1/2 c sorghum
2 eggs beaten
1 tsp ginger
1 tsp cinnamon
1 tsp cloves
1 tsp soda
1 c boiling water

Directions:
Directions:
Cream shortening; blend in sugar gradually, add sorghum and beat. Sir dry ingredients together and add to the cream. Add eggs, hot water and beat well. Pour into well greased 9x13x2 inch pan and bake at 350 for 30-40 minutes. Serve with whipped cream flavored with sorghum.
