1 cup of buttermilk 1/2 cup light brown sugar 2 cups granulated sugar 1/2 tsp baking soda 1/2 cup light corn syrup Cook slowly until it forms soft ball in cold water. remove from heat. Cool. Add 1/2 cup butter or margarine 1/2 cup peanut butter 1 tsp vanilla
Beat until creamy. Spread between layer and on top of cake.
