3½ cups all-purpose flour
1½ tsp. baking soda
2½ tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. salt
4 eggs
1 cup butter, softened
4 small ripe bananas, sliced
1½ cups sugar
1 cup chopped nuts
1 cup chocolate chips (optional)
1 cup craisens (optional)

Glaze:
Juice of 1 lemon
About 1 cup confectioners sugar

Directions:
Directions:
In bowl, combine flour, baking soda, cream of tartar and salt. Set aside.
Mix together in mixer or blender, eggs, butter, bananas and sugar until blended. Pour over dry ingredients and mix until flour is moistened. Turn into 2 greased 8x4” loaf pans.
Bake in preheated 350º oven - 45-50 minutes.
Remove from oven and prick tops a with fork let sit 10 minutes before spreading glaze. LEMON GLAZE:
Grate rind of 1 lemon and save.
Juice the lemon. Add lemon peel to lemon juice. Mix confectioners sugar and juice mixture, until spreading consistency and spread on loaves. Makes 2 loaves.
