TOPPING
1 c. walnuts
1 pkg. Ramen noodles, broken
4 tbsp. butter

SALAD
1 bunch broccoli tops, coarsely chopped
1 head Romaine lettuce, torn into pieces
4 green onions chopped

DRESSING
1 c. vegetable oil
1 c. sugar
1/2 wine or cider vinegar
1 tbsp. soy sauce
salt and pepper to taste

CRUNCHY TOPPING
Brown walnuts and Ramen noodles in butter. Cool on paper towels.
ROMAINE SALAD
Toss broccoli, lettuce and green onions in salad bowl. Set aside.
DRESSING
Mix oil, sugar, vinegar, soy sauce, salt and pepper in jar. Shake jar well so sugar will dissolve.
TO SERVE
Mix dressing and salad together; sprinkle with crunchy topping before serving.
