5-1/2 - 6 cups flour (approximate amount)
1/2 cup sugar
1-1/2 teaspoons salt
2 packages yeast
1/2 cup soft margarine
1-1/2 cups very hot tap water
2 eggs room temperature
3/4 cup chopped pecans
1/2 cup packed brown sugar
1 teaspoon maple flavoring
Extra melted butter

In a large bowl mix 2 cups flour, sugar, salt and yeast. Add margarine, water, beat with electric mixer for 2 minutes. Add eggs and 1 cup flour. Beat 2 more minutes. Add enough flour to make a soft dough. Mix by hand. Turn onto a floured board. Knead 10 minutes. Cover with plastic wrap and a towel. Let rest 20 minutes. Combine nuts, brown sugar and flavoring. Punch dough down and divide in half. Roll out into 16 x 8 rectangle. Brush on melted margarine. Sprinkle 1/2 of brown sugar mixture over dough. Rollup on long side to form 16 inch roll. Place in circle on cookie sheet. Punch ends to seal. Cut with scissors 2/3 inch into ring and turn cut on it's side. Brush on melted margarine. Cover with plastic wrap.
Refrigerate 2 to 24 hours when ready to bake remove from refrigerator and let stand 10 minutes. Bake at 375º for 20 - 25 minutes. Cool on rack. Frost.
