2 pkg. (3oz each) cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1 tsp vanilla
1/4 tsp salt
3 eggs
3/4 cup Karo light or dark syrup
2 Tbsp sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 unbaked 9 in pie shell
1 1/4 cups chopped pecans

Directions:
Directions:
In small bowl, beat together cream cheese, 1/4 cup sugar, 1 egg 1 tsp vanilla and salt until thick, creamy and smooth, set aside. In another small bowl, beat 3 eggs just until yolks and whites are combined. Add corn syrup, 2 Tbsp sugar and vanilla. Beat gently until blended. Spread cream cheese mixture in bottom of pie shell. Sprinkle with pecans. Gently pour syrup mixture over pecans. Bake at 375 until center is firm, approx. 35 to 40 min. ** Bake on low rack **
