1 c. butter, softened
3/4 c. firmly packed brown sugar
1/4 c. sugar
1 small pkg. instant pudding, any flavor you want
1 tsp. vanilla
2 eggs
2 1/4 c. flour
1 tsp. baking soda
1 pkg. chocolate chips
1 c. chopped peanuts or pecans, optional

Directions:
Directions:
Beat butter, sugars and pudding mix and vanilla in large bowl with electric mixer on medium speed until well blended. Add eggs, mix well. Gradually add flour and baking soda, beating until well blended. Stir in chocolate chips and nuts. Batter will be stiff. Drop dough by teaspoonfuls, 2 inches apart, onto ungreased cookie sheets.
Bake at 375 for 8 - 10 minutes or until golden brown. Remove from cookie sheets. Cool on wire racks.
