1 1/2 - 2 lb. round steak
1 tsp. salt
1/8 tsp. pepper
1 onion, chopped
1/4 tsp. garlic salt
1 T. Worcestershire sauce
1 1/2 c. beef bouillon
1 T. catsup
2 T. dry white wine
1/4 lb. fresh mushroom, sliced
1/3 c. flour
1 c. sour cream

Cut steak into bite-sized pieces. Coat with salt and pepper. Place at bottom of slow-cooker with onion. Mix garlic, Worcestershire sauce, bouillon, and catsup. Pour over meat. Cover and cook on low for 6-8 hours or until tender. Turn control to high. Add wine and mushrooms. Dissolve flour in small amount of water. Add to meat mixture, stirring until blended. Cook on high for 15 minutes or until slightly thickened. Stir in sour cream; turn off heat. Serve with rice or noodles.

This was another dish I made when Joel and I were first married. The meat was a cheaper cut, but because it cooked for so long, it was usually tender. Now I make it with stew beef or tenderloin tips, but I have to admit I don't notice a big difference.
