3/4c. butter, room temperature
2c. sugar
4 eggs, room temperature
1-16oz. can chocolate syrup
1c. all purpose flour
1 tsp. baking powder
pinch of salt
2 tsp. vanilla
2 1/2c. miniature marshmallows
1/4c. milk
1/2c. chocolate chips

Directions:
Preheat oven to 350ºF. Grease 9"x13" baking pan. Cream 1/2c. (1 stick) butter with 1c. sugar in large bowl. Add eggs and beat well. Stir in chocolate syrup.
Sift flour, baking powder and salt into small bowl. Blend into chocolate mixture. Add vanilla. Pour batter into prepared pan. Bake until tester inserted in center comes out clean, about 35-40 minutes. Cover cake immediately with marshmallows.
To make icing, combine 1c. sugar, milk, and 1/4c. (1/2 stick) butter in heavy medium saucepan over low heat and stir constantly until butter is melted and sugar is dissolved. Add chocolate chips and 1 tsp. vanilla and stir until chocolate is melted. Remove from heat and beat until smooth. Drizzle icing over marshmallows. Let cool completely before serving.
