2-1/2 c. all purpose flour.
2/3 cups packed brown sugar.
3/4 c. butter.
1 egg, slightly beaten.
2 c. chocolate chips.
1 cup coarsely chopped nuts.
1 can sweetened condensed milk.
1-3/4 c. (10oz.) English Toffee Bits.

Directions:
Directions:
Heat oven to 350. Grease 13x9x2 inch baking pan.
In large bowl, stir together flour and brown sugar. Cut in butter until mixture resembles coarse crumbs. Add egg and mix well. Stir in 1-1/2 cups of chocolate chips and 3/4 cups of nuts. Reserve 1-1/2 cups of mixture. Press remaining crumb mixture into bottom or prepared pan. Bake 10 minutes. Pour sweetened condensed milk evenly over hot crust, top with 1-1/2 cups toffee bits. Sprinkle reserved crumb mixture, remaining 1/2 cup chocolate chips and 1/4 cup nuts over top. Bake 25 to 30 minutes or until golden brown. Sprinkle with remaining toffee bits.. Cool completely in pan on wire rack. Cut into bars. Makes about 48 bars.
