1 stewed chicken, boned
5 c. broth
1 lb. sausage
1/2 c. onion
1 c. chopped celery
1 c. dry rice
2 envelopes Liptons noodle soup mix
1/2 c. slivered almonds

Directions:
Directions:
Brown sausage with onion and celery. Butter 9 x 13 pan. Put in 1 c. dry rice. Add sausage and chicken and broth. Add noodle soup mix, top with almonds. Bake at 350º for 1 hour, stirring occasionally.

My mom used to make this when I was growing up. She used ground beef instead of the chicken and sausage and it was quite tasty!
