4 oz. cream cheese, softened
1/2 c. fresh or frozen strawberries, thawed
1 T. sugar
1 T. lemon juice
dash salt
1/3 c. salad oil
red food coloring

Directions:
Directions:
In small bowl, beat together cheese, strawberries, sugar, lemon juice, salt. Gradually add salad oil, beating till mixture thickens. Stir in 1-2 drops coloring. Cover, chill thoroughly. Makes 1 1/3 cup dip for fresh pineapple and melon slices.

Don't use more than 1/2 cup of strawberries or the dip won't thicken. Also, drain any extra juice from the strawberries, using only the pulp.
