Beef Brisket Recipe

5 - 6 lb brisket
1 t celery salt
1 t onion salt
1 t garlic salt
3 oz. liquid smoke
2 T worcestershire sauce
salt & pepper to taste
6 oz barbecue sauce
gravy (optional)
2 T flour
1/2 C water

Sprinkle both sides of meat w/celery, onion, & garlic salt. Pour liquid smoke over meat, cover and place in fridge overnight. When ready to cook, remove from marinade and sprinkle both sides of meat with salt, pepper & worcestershire. Place in shallow pan, cover with foil & bake approx 5 hrs. at 275. Uncover meat and pour barbecue sauce over. Continue baking 1 hr longer. When serving slice paper thin. If desired, flour & water may be added to pan drippings to make gravy. If gravy is not made, pour off most of the drippings before adding barbecue sauce.
