1 qt milk
1/2 cup cornmeal
3/4 cup molasses
1/2 cup sugar
1 tsp salt
1/2 tsp ginger
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1 egg

Directions:
Directions:
Cook milk 20 minutes stirring constantly
add molasses sugar salt ginger cinnamon & egg
Mix well. Pour into buttered 3 quart casserole
Bake 300º 2 hours
Add additional cup milk during cooking (don't stir)
Serve hot with ice cream or warm with whipped cream
