2 c sugar
2 c flour
1 tsp baking soda
1 tsp cinnamon
½ c margarine
½ c vegetable oil
4 tbsp cocoa
1 c water
4 eggs
½ c buttermilk (you can make this by adding 1 tsp lemon juice to milk and let it sit for a few minutes, it will curdle)
1 tsp vanilla

Frosting:

½ c margarine
4 tbsp cocoa
6 tbsp milk

2 c powdered sugar
1 tsp vanilla
1 c pecans or walnuts (optional)
