1/4c. chopped onion
1T. salad oil
1c. ketchup
1/2c. chopped celery
1T. brown sugar
2T. Worcestershire sauce
1T. vinegar
1T. prepared mustard
8 to 10 hot dogs
4 or 5 hot dog buns, split
Directions:
Directions:
Cook onion in oil until tender; stir in ketchup, celery, brown sugar, Worcestershire, vinegar, mustard, 1/2 c. water, and 1/2 tsp. salt. Simmer, covered, 20 minutes. Score franks diagonally at 1 inch intervals; add to sauce. Simmer, covered, 15 minutes. Serve over toasted hot dog buns.
