"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
This recipe for Perfect Pie Crust, by Ann Bell, is from Recipe's for Life,

families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
2 cup Sifted Flour 1 tsp Salt 2/3 cup Crisco 1/2 cup Water
Sift Flour and Salt into bowl. Put 1/3 cup of this mixture into small bowl, mix in the water to form a paste. Cut Crisco with a knife or blender into the remaining flour until the pieces are the size of small peas. Add flour paste to the Crisco flour mixture. Mix thoroughly until the dough comes together and can be shaped into balls. Divide in half. Roll out both crusts about 1/8" thick. Bake 400º for 15-18 minutes.
