"The tradition of Italian cooking is that of the matriarch. This is the cooking of grandma. She didn't waste time thinking too much about the celery. She got the best celery she could and then she dealt with it."--Mario Batali
This recipe for Peanut Butter Bon Bons, by Angie and Mike, is from The Bolme Family Cookbook 2006,
one of the cookbooks created at FamilyCookbookProject.com. We help
families or individuals create heirloom cookbook treasures.
1 c. peanut butter 1½ c. crushed graham crackers 2 c. powdered sugar ½ c. + 2 tsp. margarine 1 pkg. chocolate bark
Mix all ingredients together and let set for 1 hour. Roll into 1-inch balls and freeze or cool. Dip into melted chocolate bark and dry on waxed paper. May also use mini paper cups and pour chocolate over peanut butter balls.
I often double the recipe. Once you start eating them, you can't stop!
