2 lbs. beef cubes
1 large onion, chopped
1/4c. oil
1c. water
1/2c. ketchup
1/4c. vinegar
1/4c. brown sugar
1T. Worcestershire
1 tsp. salt
1 bag frozen mixed vegetables

In large pot, brown beef and onion in oil. Add remaining ingredients, except vegetables.
Cover and simmer for at least 45 minutes. Add frozen vegetables and cook for 1 hour longer.
Great with egg noodles.
