1 envelope of Lipton Onion Soup Mix

Preheat oven to 250 degrees. Coat beef with the soup mix and wrap in tinfoil. Cook in a pan for 2 - 2 1/2 hours, until done.

Someone told me about this recipe during the first year of my marriage. We were on a very tight budget. The woman said that you could make this with the cheapest cut of beef and the end result would be tender and tasty. She was right. My only caution is that it is salty. You could try a half envelope of the soup mix and see how that works, if salt is a concern for you.
