Personal Notes:
When my oldest son Tom was in 3rd grade, his classmate, Billy Alwell, shared his cookies at lunch time with Tom. Tom remarked how good they were. So Billy asked his mom to send me the recipe so Tom would quit eating all his cookies. It has always been an easy-to-do favorite. We laugh when I say I'm going to make 'Billy Alwell cookies.'
