3 cups Karo syrup
3 cups sugar

3 cups canned milk
3 cups butter

Lots of popped corn

Directions:
Directions:
Boil together the Karo and sugar.
In another pan put canned milk and butter. Heat but do not boil!
Very slowly pour the second mixture into the first. It takes 5 to 10 minutes.
Cook until it reaches the firm ball stage.
Pour over popped corn and stir well.

Your older children likely remember how good this was. Grandma seemed to have a special touch at making this. Her directions don't give that detail!
