6 or more quarts popped corn
1 pound peppermint stick candy
1 to 2 pounds marshmallows
1 to 1 1/2 cubes butter

Pop the corn then keep it warm in a 200º oven while preparing the peppermint sauce.

Crush the peppermint stick, then pulverize the pieces in a blender.

If using molds to make fun shapes, line them with foil then spray the foil with a non-stick spray.

Melt together the marshmallows and butter. stir in the peppermint powder and pour over the warm popped corn while stirring well. Work fast. When well coated pack firmly into pans or molds that have been prepared. Set to firm up about 1/2 hour before removing from molds. Give some for holiday neighboorhood gifts and enjoy some for yourself.
