recipe for 2 quarts of ice cream
2 cups of milk
1 cup sugar
1 T flour
2 egg yolks
1/2 cup milk
pinch of salt
1 cup of cream
1 heaping T vanilla
pink food coloring [to your taste]

Directions:
Directions:
Warm the 2 cups of milk over low heat. Mix together: 1 cup sugar, 1 T flour, 2 egg yolks, 1/2 cup milk, and pinch of salt. Add mixture to warmed milk. Continue cooking until it comes to a full boil. Watch closely and stir. Remove from heat and pour into freezer can. Add 1 cup of cream and vanilla. Add milk to top of dasher. May add pink food coloring if it is for birthdays.
