6 med. yellow squash
1/2 lb. bacon
1 small onion (chopped)
3/4 c bread crumbs
1 c sharp cheddar cheese (shredded)

Directions:
Directions:
Wash squash & cook in boiling salted water 8 - 10 mins. or until tender yet frim. Drain & cool slightly, remove stems. Cut lenghth wise; remove & reserve pulp. Cook bacon & reserve 2 T drippings. Saute' onion in drippings; stir in crumbled bacon, bread crumbs & squash pulp. Place squash in baking dish & spoon mixture into shells and top w/cheese. Broil 6" from heat for 5 minutes. Sprinkle with paprika.
