2 cans (14 1/2 oz ea) asparagus spears or same amount fresh
1 green pepper, chopped
1 sm bunch green onions, chopped
1/2 cup wine vinegar
1/2 cup sugar
3/4 cup salad oil
1 clove garlic, minced
1/4 tsp paprika

If using fresh asparagus, parboil (do not overcook) --lay asparagus in shallow pan -- Mix remaining ingredients and pour over asparagus. Chill at least 5 hours.
