3 egg whites
1 cup sugar
16 soda crackers, rolled fine
1/4 tsp baking powder
1/2 cup pecans
1 tsp vanilla
4-5 peaches sliced


Directions:
Directions:
Beat egg whites until stiff, then beat in sugar gradually. Fold in soda crackers, baking powder, nuts and vanilla. Spread in buttered pie plate -- mounding around edge. Bake 30 minutes at 325º. Cool -- I always smush down the "crust" a bit before filling with peaches and covering peaches with whipped cream...Chill.
