4 1/2 cups sifted flour
3 tsp baking powder
1 tsp sugar
2 tsp salt
1 2/3 cups whole bran cereal
2 1/2 cups buttermilk

Directions:
Directions:
Sift together flour, baking soda, salt and sugar
Add Bran Cereal to flour mixture
Mix well
Add Buttermilk and mix until all ingredients are mositened.
Flour hands and press dough into a greased loaf pan.
Bake in 350 oven 1 hour or until fork inserted in center comes out clean
