1 pound lean groud beef or Boca crumbles (vegetarian)
1 onion, chopped
16 oz. tomato sauce
1/2 tsp dried basil
3 cloves garlic, minced
1 tsp italian seasoning
Veggie toppings (mushrooms, peppers, olives, any of your favorites)
15 slices turkey pepperoni (optional)
2 (71/2 oz) cans refrigerated buttermilk biscuits
1 1/2 cups shredded mozzarella cheese

Directions:
Directions:
Preheat oven to 350 degrees. In skillet, brown meat and onions, stirring to crumble. Stir in sauce, basil, garlic, and italian seasoning. Add veggies and pepperoni. Cut biscuits into quarters and add to mixture, stirring gently until they are covered with sauce. Spray a 9 x 13 cooking dish with cooking spray. Spoon mixture into the dish and bake for 25 minutes. Sprinkle with cheese and bake for an additional 10 minutes or until biscuits are done. Let stand 5 minutes before serving
