1 pkg. Lime Jello
1 c. liquid (pineapple juice & water)
1/2 cup crushed pineapple, drained
1/2 cup mayonnaise -- or less
1/2 cup cottage cheese
1/2 cup evaporated milk
1/2 cup chopped nuts (if desired)

Directions:

Heat liquid and dissolve jello into it. Cool then whip.
Fold in remaining ingredients and chill.

Grandma Jennie Groberg's specialty -- a regular for Sunday Dinner. She always added lots of nuts, but we usually liked it better without the nuts.
