2 packs Lady's fingers
3 bananas, cut into 1/4" rounds
2 small packages vanilla or lemon instant pudding
1 can pineapple chunks or tidbits, drained
12oz. container Cool Whip
chopped nuts
marachino cherries

Directions:
Directions:
Prepare pudding and chill until thickened. Line the bottom and up the sides of a bowl (like the flat ones that Mom serves pasta in) with the ladyfingers. Then layer the bananas over the lady fingers, and layer the pineapple over the bananas. Pour pudding over pineapple layer and smooth out to the edges, leaving tops of lady fingers exposed. Sprinkle with chopped nut and cherries.

I think everyone remembers this recipe. I remember sneeking to the downstairs refrigerator (in Dad's Bar) the morning after Mom made this dessert, with a spoon, and stand there and eat this dessert. It's so refreshing and a great summer time dessert. (really it's a good anytime dessert)
