2 c. brown sugar
2 tsp. baking powder
2 c. white sugar
2 tsp. soda
2 c. butter
2 tsp. vanilla
4 eggs
4 c. flour
1 tsp. salt
5 c. oatmeal
3 c. chopped nuts
2 (8 oz.) hershey bars, chopped OR 3 c. raisins

Directions:
Directions:
Cream sugar and butter, add eggs and beat well. Add salt, baking powder, soda and vanilla, mix well. Mix in flour and oats. Mix in chocolate, raisins, and nuts. Mold into golf ball size balls. Place on ungreased cookie sheet 2 inches apart. Press to slightly flatten. Bake: 400º for 6 minutes. Let cool before removing from pan. Do not overbake
