1 box Duncan Hines Butter Recipe Golden Cake Mix

Bake cake in 2 layers and split into 4 layers

Filling: 2 cups sugar
1 carton sour cream
12 oz. frozen coconut.

Mix these 3 ingredients and spread between layers. Do not
put on top of cake.

7 Minute Icing

2 unbeaten egg whites
1 1/2 c. sugar
1/4 tsp. cream of tartar
1 tsp. vanilla
1/3 c. cold water

Place all ingredients except vanilla in top of double boiler; beat
1 minute with electric beater to blend. Place over boiling water
and cook, beating constantly, till frosting forms stiff peaks,
about 7 minutes. Add vanilla, beat about another 2 minutes.
Frost sides & top of cake.

Mix cake according to directions. Cook in 2 layers and split to make 4 layers.

Filling: Mix sugar, sour cream & coconut and spread between layers(not on top of cake). Frost with 7 minute icing.
