"I have long believed that good food, good eating is all about risk. Whether we're talking about unpasteurized Stilton, raw oysters or working for organized crime 'associates,' food, for me, has always been an adventure."--Anthony Bourdain
1 cup of sugar 1 cup of chunky peanut butter 1 large egg 1 (12oz) bag of chocolate chips (I prefer milk chocolate)
Preheat oven to 350. Mix sugar, peanut butter and egg together in a bowl. Spoon mixture into an ungreased 8x8 pan. Press mixture until it is even. Bake until gloss has left top of cookies; about 10 minutes. Turn off oven! Sprinkle chocolate on top; return to oven (oven will still be warm) for a few minutes. Remove from oven, spread melted chocolate, let cool and cut into bars.
