Ingredients: Plan one, boneless, skinned chicken breast per serving. Wrap each chicken breast in 1 strip bacon 1 4 ounce package of dried beef 1 small carton sour cream 1 can undiluted cream of mushroom soup

Directions:Using an oblong pyrex dish to accommodate number of servings you plan (6 or so), place dried beef in a layer to cover bottom of pan. Place pieces of chicken breast wrapped in bacon on top of dried beef layer. Mix together the sour cream and cream of mushroom soup. Pour sour cream/soup mixture over chicken, bacon and dried beef layers. Bake uncovered at 275º (slow oven or sour cream will curdle) for 3 1/2 hours. Serve with rice or mashed potatoes. |

Notes: If you want to serve more chicken breasts/wrapped in bacon, you can increase the amount of sour cream and cream of mushroom soup and place more dried beef in the bottom of a larger pyrex dish. It makes a nice gravy if you want to serve it with mashed potatoes. This is a family favorite.
