2 cups white sugar 1/2 cup white syrup 1/2 cup water 2 egg whites beaten stiff 1 cup walnuts 1 tsp vanilla
Boil sugar, syrup and water to 265º - Hard boil. Take off heat and cool a few minutes. Dump cooked mixture slowly into beaten egg whites. Beat 5 minutes with electric beater. Fold in nuts and vanilla. Stir a bit until it loses its shine and drop by spoonful onto buttered dish.
