2-1/2 c. unsalted butter 4 c. granulated sugar 8 large eggs 1-1/2 c. ligh corn syrup 2-2/3 c. all purpose flour 2 c. dutched cocoa powder (Hershey's or Ghiradelli works well) 1 tsp. baking powder 1-1/2 tsp. salt
Cream butter and sugar until fluffy. Blend in eggs one at a time. Blend in corn syrup. Mix in remaining ingredients and blend well. Spread in parchment lined sheet pan. Bake at 350º for about 45 mins. or until tester comes out clean. Cool. Dust with powdered sugar.
