1/2 cup butter
1/2 cup sugar
1/4 tsp vanilla
1 cup flour
1 8 oz cream cheese
1/4 cup sugar
1 egg
1/2 tsp vanilla
4 cup apples, sliced
1/2 tsp cinnamon
1/3 cup sugar
1/4 cup almonds, sliced

Directions:
Directions:
Cream first 3 ingredients - stir in flour -- press in spring form pan. Combine cheese, sugar, egg and vanilla. Beat until smooth -- pour on top of crust. Toss apples with cinnamon and 1/3 c sugar. Place apples over cheese layer and sprinkle with almonds. Bake at 400 for 10 minutes. Reduce heat to 350 and bake about 25 more minutes until set. Cool before removing sides of pan.
