4 eggs 3/4 c. sugar 1/2 c. cornflour 2 dessert spoons plain flour 1/2 tsp. carbonated soda 2 tsp. cocoa 1 dessert spoon golden syrup
1. Beat egg whites stiff. 2. Add sugar, beating until smooth and glossy. 3. Beat egg yolks in one at a time and add golden syrup. 4. Sift in dry ingredients. 5. Bake in moderate oven at 400ºF for 20-25 minutes.
